Local Giving Month Participation Terms & Conditions

By registering a business pledge or fundraising activity, you agree to the following:

1. Commitment to your pledge
   You intend to donate the value of the pledge or funds raised through your registered Local Giving Month activity to Border Trust's Community Impact Fund by the nominated campaign closing date.
2. Lawful fundraising
   Your fundraising activity or business pledge must comply with all applicable laws and must not involve illegal, unsafe or unethical activities, or activities that could bring Border Trust or Local Giving Month into disrepute.
3. Responsible conduct
   You are responsible for planning, managing and conducting your fundraising activity safely and appropriately, including obtaining any permits, licences or insurance that may be required.
4. Use of campaign materials
   You may use the Local Giving Month promotional materials provided by Border Trust to promote your registered activity or pledge.
5. Use of logos and branding
   Border Trust and Local Giving Month logos, branding and artwork may only be used in connection with your approved Local Giving Month activity. Any new or modified promotional materials using our branding must be approved by Border Trust before publication.
6. Acknowledging the campaign
   When promoting your pledge or fundraising activity, you agree to acknowledge that you are participating in Border Trust's Local Giving Month and, where practical, include the Local Giving Month logo, website or campaign hashtag.
7. Accurate representation
   You will promote your pledge or fundraising activity honestly and accurately and will not make misleading statements about Border Trust, Local Giving Month or how funds will be used.
8. Photography and promotion
   You grant Border Trust permission to use your organisation's name, logo, pledge description and any photographs or stories you provide to promote Local Giving Month, unless you advise us otherwise.
9. Privacy
   Any personal information collected through your registration will be handled in accordance with Border Trust's Privacy Policy.
10. Campaign participation
    Border Trust reserves the right to decline, suspend or remove any fundraising activity or business pledge that is inconsistent with the values or objectives of Local Giving Month or may adversely affect Border Trust's reputation.
